Project Description:

This project involves the construction of 29 premium apartments, including a mix of one, two and three bed units, right in the heart of Donnybrook. Two penthouses are proposed each in excess of 2,000sqft on the fourth floor. The site formally housed a laundry facility along with a protected chimney stack which will be retained to create a focal point for the landscaped gardens provide for use by the residents.

The apartments are arranged along The Crescent road with the two stair and lift cores expressed vertically over 5 levels. The cores are accessed directly from street level, activating the street, and can also be accessed from the private gardens and basement. The top level is set back to reduce massing and overbearing on the neighbouring properties. A high quality finish to the building incorporates a heritage brick, inspired by the chimney stack, which is complimented by modern materials such as glass and cut stone. Basement parking is also provided for 40 cars.
