Leopardstown Race Course Pavilion, Dublin
Client: Private
Status: Completed 1999
Value: Private
Project Description:
In 1992, the Leopardstown club embarked on a programme of modernization of their facilities, on which we worked for almost a decade. First a new bar The Goat was created on the second level, together with a new bistro style cafeteria doubling as a conference and banqueting centre on non race days, then three other bars were upgraded, the Tote Hall on the ground floor remodeled, and a new ticket entrance building provided.
In 1999, the Pavilion was completed, comprising three separate elements in a corporate facility to view racing and for non race day banqueting, conference, product launches etc, a former marketing centre for Baileys cream liqueur, and a shop. This building won a CIF Millennium Award.
